"So I really like it! It’s like velvet, so the fabric itself is heavier than usual. The skirt has a little corset / under bust ribbon decoration so it fits nicely. Quality is better than expected as I’m trying to avoid polyester fabric (this one is mostly cotton). Only the zip was a bit hard to pull up but I managed it!"

"Love this skirt. I have it with the matching corset top but it looks great without it too. It’s quite heavy cord like material and drapes really nicely. I’m a uk 12 and ordered an m and it fits great. A good length (I’m 5’7”), just below knees. Arrived quickly."

"The fit of the waistband is very nice due to the stretchy back and the fabric is high quality but the cord is very stiff and stands out a bit awkwardly. As someone who is a bit bigger around the waist it doesn't really look flattering to be honest. The knee length is alright."

I loved the purple one

"I loved the purple one so much that I had to get it in black as well. The quality of the velvet is very good, it’s the thick type of velvet that holds its stiffness and is easy to arrange into a voluminous shape (exactly what I was looking for). The waistband is decorative only, you can’t adjust it, but you don’t really need to. The sizing was perfect. I bought a size L, and it fits exactly as it should."

"Personally, I like this skirt very much. I find the size quite true, but the waist is not stretchy, so you might want to be careful, it's not elastic like other skirts and it's not oversized as most KS items. It's quite snug, but it fits. Length is good, the fabric is quite thick. Careful that, as a previous review here said, the upper part from the advertised photos is from a vest/corset top, it's not part of the skirt."

"The skirt is beautiful and made of thick, warm material, which makes it ideal for fresher days. The quality is good, but the sizing is a bit of a problem. I followed the reviews and opted for a size XXL, but it was HUGE! The skirt fell down to my hips instead of staying on my waist. For reference, I'm a UK size 14/16. In the end, I bought a size L and it fits perfectly! The fabric has a (very) little stretch, but don't rely on this. The zipper is quite fragile given the fabric and the skirt's shape; it must be handled with extra care. Overall, it's a beautiful and versatile skirt."
