"I thought the waist ties on the front were functional but they're not, so I wish the description was a little more clear. My waist is quite small so I would have benefited a lot from being able to lace it tighter. Definitely will be good as a staple item."
"So I really like it! It’s like velvet, so the fabric itself is heavier than usual. The skirt has a little corset / under bust ribbon decoration so it fits nicely. Quality is better than expected as I’m trying to avoid polyester fabric (this one is mostly cotton). Only the zip was a bit hard to pull up but I managed it!"

"Love this skirt. I have it with the matching corset top but it looks great without it too. It’s quite heavy cord like material and drapes really nicely. I’m a uk 12 and ordered an m and it fits great. A good length (I’m 5’7”), just below knees. Arrived quickly."
"The skirt is amazing. The midi length is perfect, how it goes a bit below knees. Velvet material is high quality. Also the pockets are great addition to it. The only thing I'm a bit sad about the skirt, is that the corset part on it is fixed, so you can't change how it looks."
"The fit of the waistband is very nice due to the stretchy back and the fabric is high quality but the cord is very stiff and stands out a bit awkwardly. As someone who is a bit bigger around the waist it doesn't really look flattering to be honest. The knee length is alright."

"I loved the purple one so much that I had to get it in black as well. The quality of the velvet is very good, it’s the thick type of velvet that holds its stiffness and is easy to arrange into a voluminous shape (exactly what I was looking for). The waistband is decorative only, you can’t adjust it, but you don’t really need to. The sizing was perfect. I bought a size L, and it fits exactly as it should."

I find the size quite true, but the waist is not stretchy, so you might want to be careful, it's not elastic like other skirts and it's not oversized as most KS items. It's quite snug, but it fits. Length is good, the fabric is quite thick. Careful that, as a previous review here said, the upper part from the advertised photos is from a vest/corset top, it's not part of the skirt."
