The bag is a smaller bag with a central storage space with a one side with a zip up compartment, and the other holding to stretch pouches for things like a small wallet or phone. It's a 9.5 inch purse and 7 inches tall, with about 3.5 inches in width at the bottom. It's also a hard shell style to prevent you from overloading your bag, and to help keep it organized.
The hardware on the magnetic clasp (moon) is very well made, and even came with plastic wrap to keep it clean. The other metal hardware on the side helps give it the "special book" look - and they even added straps across the bags top to replicate a binding on a book.
Overall - a very cute, witchy tome bag with well made design and finishings, and the perfect size to prevent you from bringing everything but the kitchen sink!
