"This is a really lovely vest. The velvet fabric is nice quality and the construction feels solid. If anything I may reinforce the button stitching just in case. I sized down to a Small becasue I have a small ribcage (28") and waist (27") and it fits perfectly. I may even wear this to the ted fair this season!"

The fabric is pleasant enough, feels thick and sturdy. The buttons are a pain. When I did manage to button them, I then struggled to get it under my bust properly. If you have a bigger chest, be warned. It just feels SHORT. I'm not tall, but the shoulder straps don't seem long enough for the average person, and I didn't realize from the pictures how short the hem was before I bought it. It accents my belly more than covers it. Size up is my advice. I'm sending this one back."
